Distance from start to finish: 11 km
Whitewater levels of difficulty: class I-III, which means suitable for beginners (International Scale of River Difficulty ranges from class I to VI)
Difficulty levels: easy
Previous experience: not required, and you don’t need to be a proficient swimmer
Duration: depends on the water level, weather conditions, speed of paddling, and swimming breaks

Rafting Trip Overview

The rafting trip begins when you meet the trip leader in Split. The trip leader will collect the group, and everyone will board a bus that will transport you to the “put-in”, where the rafts await you in the river.

At the put-in, the trip leader will provide a safety talk, a vital 10–15 minute instruction on how to behave on the water.

Once on the boat, the guide will give further instructions on how to paddle while afloat and provide time to practice following commands.

Guide Information

All guides are certified with a whitewater guide license from the IRF (International Rafting Federation), HGK, and the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service.
