At the beginning of the tour, a professional, English speaking guide will take you to the Fish market and the Greenmarket, where you will be able to choose between fresh local groceries that will be prepared for you by an experienced chef in one of the most popular restaurants in Split. While buying groceries on the Greenmarket, you will be able to try some traditional Croatian delicacies and buy some homemade honey, cheese, or extra virgin olive oil.

Both the Greenmarket and the Fish market have always been one of the biggest symbols of Split, so locals love spending their mornings off in a search of recently caught fish or carefully looked after fruits and vegetables – all seasonal, very healthy.

When done with your shopping, the guide will take you through city streets where you will learn all about its history and some local legends.

After the tour, you will come back to Zinfandel food & wine restaurant where you will enjoy the lunch prepared out of groceries you have chosen at Fish and Greenmarkets. The staff of the restaurant will recommend the wine which best suits your lunch.
